Valle di Ledro: it is located in a pre-alpine valley of glacial and suspended origin that connects the Valle del Chiese with Lake Garda. It takes its name from the homonymous Lake Ledro. The valley became famous after the discovery of a village of pile-dwellings from the Bronze Age. Since 2011 it is among the UNESCO protected sites. In addition, in the territory there is the Biosphere Reserve which includes protected areas for their rich biodiversity. It is a true paradise for hikers, bikers, canyoning and paragliding enthusiasts.
Ledro: is the main town in the valley, includes Lake Ledro and overlooks Lake Garda.
The area is rich in history and sports. It is in fact in Ledro that the Bronze Age pile-dwellings were discovered and many of the surrounding areas were the site of important historical events of the First World War and the Great War. As far as sport is concerned, with its villages and mountains, the town invites you to go hiking and mountain biking. In winter, the snow allows you to discover the area on snowshoes, skis or on foot, thanks to easy routes and to everyone's height. Moreover, it is possible to carry out Nordic skiing activities or experience the toboggan run in the nearby Tremalzo.
In summer Ledro is a natural gym surrounded by greenery. One of the activities not to be missed is the tour around Lake Ledro, to do both on foot and by bike. Along the path you can admire the beauty of the surrounding mountains. Swimming is possible in the lake.
