Val di Sole

Val di Sole: located northwest of Trentino and crossed by the river Noce. In the winter period it is known for its numerous ski complexes such as Passo Tonale, Pejo and Folgaria, while in the summer period thanks to its location between the Stelvio National Park and the Adamello Brenta National Park. Main tourist resorts: Folgarida, Passo Tonale, Val di Pejo and Val di Rabbi. 


Folgarida: it is a village in the municipality of Dimaro at about 1,270 meters above sea level. In winter it is the perfect place to ski. Its ski area, which is the main one in Val di Sole, is connected to the slopes of Madonna di Campiglio and Pinzolo, for a total of 120 km of slopes. For those who prefer cross-country skiing, in Folgarida there are 70 km of slopes dedicated to this sport. 

Even in summer, fun is guaranteed, thanks to the various activities that can be carried out, such as mountain biking, rafting on the river Noce or walking in nature, thanks to the ski lifts, open in summer, which allow you to reach breathtaking destinations. 

Adamello-Brenta National Park: this is a protected natural area of Trentino. Established in 1967, it is the largest in the territory (about 620 km). The Park boasts over a hundred examples of wild fauna and flora and a unique geological peculiarity in itself. Moving west, in the part of the Adamello-Presanella massif, we enter the realm of water, with grandiose glaciers, rushing streams, spectacular waterfalls and small enchanted lakes. While towards east we see the spectacular Brenta Dolomites, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
